"The Buzz" has been created just for you, our dedicated Sweater Machine, Magicord and Wyr Knittr owners. Each issue I’ll be telling you about new accessories, TV shows featuring Bond products, new techniques, new online patterns, what we’re doing, how you can get involved, and lots more. Now, for the big news--it’s here!! The all-new Bond America website!! Such excitement – and hard work – for all of us here. And it’s just the beginning! We knew we needed a site that was simpler, easier for visitors to find their way around while at the same time being more
comprehensive and, most importantly, of real value to visitors and Sweater Machine, Magicord and Wyr Knittr owners. And what better time to launch it than in cooperation with our new parent company, Caron International? Yes, that’s the other really big news!

On January 17, 2003, Roger and I and the crew of Bond America joined forces with our friends at Caron International, the maker of well-known craft yarns and kits, to become the Bond America division of Caron International. To read the "official" press release, click here:

Both our companies wanted to grow, and what better way than assisting each other in that growth. Together, we will be able to bring you even more machines, accessories, pattern books and other super products.

And who all is still here? Everyone and one more: Lori, Andrea and Pat are still in the Glens Falls office doing what they’ve always done so well: answering knitting questions, entering your orders and shipping them. I’m in the new Vermont office (I moved to Vermont after getting married to a Vermonter this past summer) but go to Glens Falls regularly (can’t be without my NY cronies for too long…..). And welcome Kathy Pryce, our new (as of thispast August) marketing coordinator and managing editor of Ultimate Knitting. Kathy’s learned the Sweater Machine and, together with Andrea, is the Wyr Knittr queen.
